My dad Howie’s life is one of the truest examples of God at work than almost anyone I know. His life is one of those stories you hear and think, “You couldn’t make that up.” God has taken him to so many wild places. He served as a Military Police officer for 33 years, then retired and has been pastoring a church for the past 11 years. While in the Army, he served in the church wherever he was, whether it was teaching Bible study or leading worship. Whether you serve in ministry, or your heart simply needs encouragement, I hope his story reminds you that God is always up to something, whether we see it or not! He is ready to use you, you simply have to show up with a willing heart and say yes. You won’t believe the places he’ll lead you!
